I broke up with my abusive ex like six years ago but I've never gotten over what happened despite being over him. It was obv traumatic and stuff and I was pretty young. Anyway, he tried to friend my sister on fb and he has these posts with a gf all lovey dovey and it just... sucks. How something can impact u so profoundly and devastatingly and they are living a life and are happy and all that they did is just like... nothing to them.
