I just wish I could get rid of the scars of emotional abuse from ex boyfriends. It's exhausting. My boyfriend is so sweet, so loving, and so patient. And yet, I'm here waiting for him to get mad at me when I can't be around, and that's so irrational, he doesn't get mad at me for anything stupid, he won't treat me like past boyfriends have! I'm trying so hard to live in the present with him but I cant sometimes. I'm brought back to a terrible time full of intense emotions and struggle to fight it.

 

@St. Nate's ability to say "you lookin' bad" to an attractive stanger without immediately nosediving into anxious worry that she would interpret it as " you lookin' not good" is a reminder i am not as confident a man as i think lol

Dating a fit partner/someone i'm genuinely extremely attracted to makes me my best self physically. I've recently learned that. Got back into working out and eating a little better after meeting her and already lost about 15lbs in 2 months by hardly trying.

I don't like sleeping in a bed that isn't my own. I don't know what's happened on those mattresses, I don't know when the last time those sheets were clean. Did someone have a nosebleed in their sleep and the staff just put a new cover on the pillow? how many people have gotten their bodily fluids on the tv remote? how many people have peed, shit, or jerked off in the shower and the floor only got a light scrub?
