Sorry I dismissed your feelings on it supernova, calling it 'silly' was wrong. I just thought it was unfair to label it in that way. Also, Mr Novembers statement of mansplaining really bothers me. Really disappointing to see a conversation play out like this on this site.

It's perfectly valid to list a genre you don't like on a dating profile. It gives a idea of your taste and could even be a positive point of discussion. And it's 100% smug and condescending for someone to message saying you're wrong for it.

That kind of thing happens to women all the time, because men are so insistent on exerting their opinions

 

I hate to pile on but saying in a post “you respect your mom and women”

Yet disregarding a WOMENS view on a certain topic that has been a big issue is kinda the opposite of that.

I tried to find sexy E.T. fan art the other day

 

The first time I asked a girl to be my girlfriend I got rejected (I was 15) so after that I kinda just stopped asking. Since then every relationship I’ve been in has pretty much skipped that part lol. Like once we start hanging out regularly and being sexually active and can tell that we like each other it always just sorta evolves into us calling each other bf/gf

 

I’m really bothered right now. I wish I wasn’t I always have to come back to this sentiment that i’m just a lot more tough skinned than people. And this website has taught me most people are NOT that way. I have a tough time seeing it. I NEED to learn to be more sensitive to others and their feelings. I don’t mean ill will when I call out people. I work in a profession that calling out people on stuff and having them look at it in a different perspective helps them, giving them different considersations helps them. But that absolutely does not mean I can do it everywhere, I tried to just before and it turned ugly and not where I meant for it to go. Clearly there was a misunderstanding and I stuck my nose in something I wasnt even involved in. I’m sorry @supernovagirl and to anyone else I called out. If I get ganged up on I naturally throw out a few fuck yous.
