i've been debating if I should buy valentines gummy bears at my work right now while they are expensive or wait until that clearance sale after valentines day.

 

i'm in a spot where like... I have options with friends... me and my ex are still around another.... and so much of my time is dedicated to "putting work in" to play cards rn lol.

 

I sometimes see this guy from hs and I didn't think he remembered me but he asked me how I was recently and he's still soooo gorgeous and not the type I usually go for and I wouldn't go there cause I think his situation is a bit of a mess but it was cool that he remembered me and checked in. It's always nice to feel like u weren't actually invisible lol

 

Got a haircut today and I really like the way I look, last semester of college here I come. Time to (who am I kidding I can't flirt)

The wait is always worth it

 

It seems that I only come to post on here when I feel like I’ve hit a brick wall when it comes to dating, but here goes.

A girl I used to date, that has since ended a few months ago, but who has remained a prominent person in my life continue to leaves me with pain rather than joy. The thing is, when we dated we grew very close very quickly, it was intense, and I loved it, but things ended pre maturely, and since then I have hated myself for the decision I made to end things.
Recently we found ourselves talking more frequently, and things are different for her, she has a new partner, but I still am hopelessly in love. She has told me she still has feelings for me, but keeps maintaining that she wants us always to be friends, yet I am having a very hard time just being friends with someone who I want more than just that. Friends have told me to either ask her to make a decision, or cease being friends. It’s not a decision I take likely, and I just don’t know what to do.

 

This is going to sound cold, but if she has a new partner, it sounds like she has made her decision. I don't think you've said in the above whether you've told her how you feel, but it sounds like you may have done and she's told you she just wants to be friends.

If that's the case, you've got to move on. I don't think that necessarily means you have to cut her off as a friend completely, but it sounds like you need to maybe take a step back from her and accept that things aren't going to go the way you want this time. The quicker you accept that it's done, the quicker you'll get over her and move on with your life. At which point, once the feelings are gone, you might actually be able to be good friends again.
