I asked the girl out a while back and she said let's just be friends. I was like ok cool. I decided since we were going to be friends that I would mostly text her less/hang out less as a personal decision.

ever since I made that decision, she has been trying to text me way more than she did when I was doing all the conversations. Last night I was hanging with a friend and she randomly texted me saying how much she missed my dogs and my family and I was like ???

hot damn am i happy i grew up and out of jealousy/paranoia. Elena was best friends with a dude who wanted to date her since freshman year of high school. they would hang out alone all the time and i never said a thing because she hadn't shown herself to be untrustworthy and she deserved the benefit of a doubt. if someone's going to cheat, they're just doing the vetting for you.
