Well apparently she had seen me around before and thought I just ignored her. Truth is, I never even saw her . She works on the first floor in a different department, which is definitely a good thing.

i'm doing v well. she has been very open about still having feelings but has been very cool and the first to admit that getting back together wouldn't solve anything right now. we've seen each other a few times due to still sharing a lot of mutual friends. all hangs have been fine, fun, and without awkward moments. i am truly loving having free reign over my time and how i distribute my energy.

A good friend that I've known since elementary school is dating her friend. They're roommates. My friend invited me to his gf's beach house a few weeks ago and this girl happened to go and that's the first real interaction we had. I actually saw her out at a bar one night previously and turned to my friend and was like "WHO IS THAT". She looked right at me and I realized I was still pointing at her and was pretty embarrassed

 

I guess the word 'run' is a little hyperbolic. I love my freedom and independence and whenever it gets threatened it frightens me.

But I would never ghost somebody, I told her and discussed how awesome she is and how unfair it would be if she had to put up with my wishy-washy-ness.

 

If I find someone I like, I genuinely like spending time with them. I've never felt as if my independence was threatened. Did she do something specifically that made you feel that way?

 

No, not at all. It's all me, haha. I'm in a new city and in a very transitional part of my life. I feel like part of me is worried to take someone along for the ride until I figure things out a little better.

The girl i'm texting uses :) instead of and it's oddly refreshing. Also, I dunno why, but I always prefer hahah to lol. I only use lol when something was supposed to be funny, but I actually didn't find it very funny.

I use way to much.

 

The amount of things I use in my daily lexicon that are probably annoying are staggering so I can put up with "lol" as long as I don't have to use it
