Depending on the dynamic but can talk forever and say nothing of substance too sometimes. Im too talkative especially if i just met a person. Because of my past and bad luck it's really hard for me to open up about my insecurities to my bf. It's still early in the relationship and I'm not fully comfortable talking about them because I have a fear of him leaving me so soon. He reassures me there's nothing for me to be insecure about bc he's not judging me or anything but it's so difficult. He's patient with me and I really like that. I'm still in awe that I found him. With what I know he's everything I hoped to find, but didn't think I ever would so I'd have to setting with what's close enough because usually those guys are taken or not interested.

 

Haha, yup. Just went to TBS yesterday and felt the exact same way. I have two tickets to see Brand New and The National as well so we'll see how that goes.

There are some shows I buy tickets only for myself, Wonder Years are doing an acoustic tour and then Thursday at the end of the year, for the very reason you mentioned. I want to enjoy myself fully so some shows I'll plan on going alone.

I do most shows alone, I'm not talking to people during the show and I don't have to coordinate schedules or hope they can also do it which is nice

 

I was thinking of trying to trick my friend into going to camp flog gnaw fest by saying frank ocean will play since I'm going alone.

but I decided against it because most people don't got an extra $200 to spend on that.

i've gone to a vast majority of shows by myself since high school since i only have a few friends into the same music and all are in different parts of the country. only disadvantage is boredom between sets but usually nearby people are friendly enough.
