my plan of thinking I meet someone my age at emo night is starting to backfire.

I thought the crowd would be like 21+ people. It's turning into a lot of 21 and under and I'm like yikessssss.

I went to a show last night and got hit on by a couple girls, one was 18. Told the other I was 22 and she was like "oh I was gonna ask for your number but i'm 17" and I didn't know how to respond so I just said I have to go find my friend lol.

 

I came here just to listen to some quality emo music but all it has been is terrible local bands

I left and found a taco truck down the street so nics

 

Things are official now with the guy I've been seeing. Let's see how long he wants to keep me for. I have this fear of being abandoned, bc I always get abandoned

 

these taco truck still had like 15 minutes before it was ready to serve so I just went to in n out because I am Californian.

I matched with a girl on Tinder and I was impressed with her love of Twin Peaks and we got to talking and I suggested she come over some time and we can watch a new episode tougher and possibly cuddle (which is something we were talking about prior). So I’ve had a big crush on one of my best friends for the better part of year and the other night while we were out at a bar with my roommates, somehow we got on the topic and it turns out she feels the same way (!!!)

The main issue is that she’s still in a relationship with someone else who she’s been unhappy with for awhile now, and also lives with them. I didn’t ever intend to tell her how I felt until she sorted all that stuff out but alas, here we are.

 

I was hanging with a friend last night and a lady friend of his went up to say hi to him.

She left and I was like "oh dang she cute."

he proceeds to be like "I figure you say that so I invited her to hang next week at Y2K night with us.

also my local emo night was weird. It was basically a show with different bands. The music between sets being emo music.

The worst part was they had this projection screen showing like all these emo band music videos but none of the songs actually played. They were just for show.

I was like DAMN LET ME HEAR SOME MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE since it played on the projector and they didn't play any in the 2 hours I was there.

I don't consider myself a stubborn person in general but when it comes to certain things like showing vulnerability or even like any emotion I refuse to show it even if I want to. Or maybe I am stubborn all the time and I'm so stubborn I don't see the stubbornness!!

 

This girl is cool and in theory we should get along well but she is a garbage texter. No personality. I hope this isn't indicative of her face to face demeanor

It's weird though cause it's been so long since I've been with a chick so I kept having to remind myself what to do with my hands. She's cool but I'm not wanting to date a chick just fooling around is fine with me. But I think she sees a challenge so this might get messy.

 

lol I wish I got the question. I think I'm getting ghosted. I dunno what it is with me and tinder but once it comes to moving beyond tinder that's where it fails. The thing is I asked her if she'd prefer to make plans via tinder or cell phone and she gave me her number. So I texted her, she texted back, and then I asked for more clarification on our plans and that was two hours ago. Cest la vie. It's just odd.

Ahhh, yeah. Well, I highly suggest just being very direct with her and tell her you're not looking to date at all and that you're just looking for a fuck buddy. I feel like people usually appreciate that.
