An emo night sounds fun until someone mentioned arguing BN vs. TBS and I see too much of that in other threads on this website to want to endure that in real life.

I would 100% go to a late 90's-early 2000's nu metal night, though, just to see if anyone cosplayed as Mudvayne.

 

there's something about going to an emo nite and the anxiety of being excluded from something i love while a bunch of songs about angst play that make me never want to go to one

Oh who am I kidding. I'm going to wear jeans you can see my balls through and try to remember what it was like to have hair to put hairspray in.

 

Now I really want to go to emo night. Still have my 8th grade soccer shirt that I wore all through high school. But now I have dad-bod.

 

Looking at that "expect to hear" list just made me listen to Finch's "what it is to burn" and "letters to you" for the first time in legit 5+ years. Can't tell if I'm grateful or annoyed.

 

I should mention..everyone I've dated recently has the WORST taste in music. I like a wide range of music and it's appalling what they listen to.
