I'm bad at texting and real life. People irl tell me I'm fast and witty in convo but I am more the type who can insert a clever joke or reference into a convo like a side commentary. I'm not good at a back and forth witfest

 

Update: I ate! Managed to make it to just under 1000 calories for the entire day. It's kind of a very low amount for me, but definitely an improvement over starving myself like I was. I just take comfort in knowing she'd proud of me if she knew I did that.

One of my good friends parents came in from California to Michigan for her graduation and her parents were SO GOOD at conversation. Like, all these questions they were asking about myself and my girlfriend were tons of things I would never think to ask people. Conversations tend to just stall out when I try to start them or lead them. I'm great at carrying on the conversation but coming up with topics or thinking about additional questions are things that are foreign concepts to me, even with friends I haven't seen in a long time.

She apologized profusely for her parents and called them "annoyingly in-depth," but I loved it.
