I realized the other week that if I ever did get married (very low probability) that it would be 95% likely to end in divorce. And probably after like a year or two at best. I can never see myself "in the future" and never have been able to but one day at lunch I suddenly saw myself being whined and annoyed into a marriage I didn't really want and having it blow up in my face.

This is literally the only time I have been able to see myself "in the future" and that's the vision I get.

 

All good. Plenty of other fish to marry and divorce after. I regret that phrasing already

Is that implying that marriage is "taming" someone? That's why marriages fail because what the fuck that's a weird thing to think / people think odd things about what marriage is and isn't

I don't take it as literally taming someone and it can be said for male or female.

 

I always liked the Lana line "I tried so hard to act nice like a lady. You taught me that it was good to be crazy." I feel like if I ever meet someone I'll know they're for me because they can get me out of my shell and get me to chill out with being so uptight all the time. I def have a fear of a controlling partner cause I've been there done that and it's awful. Most of the women I know have controlling partners and it's hard to watch
