OMG. I have wanted to try it for years but it's such unfamiliar territory to me idk how to order. I don't like tea or milk tho and it seems to have those things I think? but they're so fun looking I need to try one.

The only place I've ever seen bubble tea was in Budapest.

 

There was bubble tea everywhere when I lived in pdx but there's none where I live now. I'll be in pdx again in a few weeks tho so I demand everyone to post their bubble tea orders so I have ideas.

 

I love bubble tea. For newbies I recommend taro. Usually the flavored milk teas are made with green tea and they're sweet. Fresh teas can be sweetened or unsweetened depending where you go. Most places use powers so it's gross. My old job used fresh tea and fruit syrup and taro was the only power we used for milk tea

 

You can never go wrong with Taro.

I don't like hot beverages and I think iced coffee doesn't taste good, so people always are amazed when I say I don't drink coffee.

 

I don't like iced coffee either!! It's so lonesome cause everyone seems to love it. I don't hate coffee but I rarely drink it. If I go to a cafe I usually get an italian soda or a smoothie lol

 

I just don't ever make plans to go to a cafe, haha.

 

Most of the only good places to eat here are cafes so I suffer in silence!!
