Me and my sis were total latchkey kids and once we tried to make pasta roni but turned on the wrong burner and set a paper towel on fire so we tried to spray perfume to cover the smell of burnt before our mom got home. I don't think we were smart enough to think of ordering a pizza. I still hate getting pizzas delivered tho idk why but it doesn't mesh with my anxiety.


And I was nice to this kinda weird lonery guy in middle school and he became a pizza delivery guy in college and was stalkery to me and my fam so there's that. /csb

 

The only good thing about getting a pizza delivered is that it's like the beginning of porn which makes me feel like a movie star

I make sure to have a slap bass track playing when a pizza delivery guy shows up

 

I don't do delivery because that requires me knowing an hour in advance when I'll be hungry, whereas in reality my hunger goes from 0-100 real quick

 

I just like getting to eat the pizza

 

I some do delivery cuz I don't feel like paying like what $5 extra for a guy to drive the five minutes down the street from dominos

 

One time me and my brother discovered if you sprinkle sugar on a burner on the stove a lil flame pops up. I knew better than to go to crazy but one morning my brother threw a whole handfull on the stove and a big fireball burst out and caught a nearby wreath on fire. This all during being up early on holiday break.
We kinda freaked and I ran in to tell our parents, my Dad thought I was lying to stay in bed, so we nagged at our Mom and eventually she got up, seen the light in the kitchen, ran in and stuck her hand through the flame, pulled the wreath off the wall and threw it in the sink lmao.

There's still a lil picture over the burning on the wall took place lmao.

 

I live in a town where there is literally 5 pizza places within driving distance and the only place that delivers is the most expensive place. Being from NY its all about Mom & Pop type places so I just drive and get it myself. At my usual place the guy sometimes gives me free zeppolis & garlic knots as a "Thanks for being a regular customer" gift. Even if it's just one for the ride home (usually its half a dozen though).

 

I pay people to make sure I don't eat Domino's

 

I do the same, pizza hut too.

I try not to be a pizza snob (but in ways I admit I am lol, spoiled being Italian & from NY. My Grandpa even use to make his own pies) but Domino's is always sooo greasy. I don't remember hating Pizza Hut too much. Never had but my girl loves Papa John's.

As a kid though you couldn't tell me Chuck E Cheese didn't have the best pizza, not cus of the pizza but because they had that classic X-Men arcade game to distract me from said pizza lmao.

 

I think Papa Johns is basically the only acceptable large-scale pizza delivery place... but still, the key word is "acceptable."

 

Dominos is the best of the three chains. I like their crust. Pizza Hut is pretty hit or miss but passable. Papa John's has the garlic sauce which is great but the pizza is subpar

 

this gives the phrase "my life's a movie" a whole new meaning

 

papa johns = dominoes > pizza hut

papa j is only tied because garlic sauce

 

i tried making home made papa johns garlic sauce once and it didnt go so well because i was too lazy to use the stove top and just microwaved some butter and garlic lol
