I went to a socialist meeting on Friday. I met a very attractive and very militant woman. She knows so much about leftist history. I hope I see her again, because I'd like to pick her brain about a few things.

I think I have genuine issues with facial recognition lol. Like it takes me a really long time to be like "yup that's their face" and not forget it so I tend to stare when I meet someone but then I just forget their face anyway!! And their name. I always forget that too.

 

So do you actually recall this guy's face or is album that you remember is that he's cute?

 

I also have facial recognition problems, like even famous people unless they have distinctive features, like Cara is the only member of Taylor's squad I could pick out of a lineup because eyebrows

like honestly one time my rm, who I've known for over 10 years, knocked on the door and it took me a few seconds to recognize her. I just have a weirdly difficult time processing faces idek. So then I become a creepy starer. Most people look average to me with no defining characteristics until I get to know them better and see them more often. I think it's an anxiety thing too tho where I'm too busy panicking to remember someone's face or name lol.
