My room has been trashed ever since my girlfriend moved in. It’s all her stuff, too.

 

My girlfriend is def way messier than me. When she moved in my space was super clean, but that mostly was due to the fact that I only had a folding chair and some boxes I used as tables for a bit.













And by a bit I mean those boxes were my tables for five months.

 

I’m 33-years-old and still set my clothes out the night before work. I’ve been doing that since I was in elementary school. I’m freakishly clean and organized.

 

I should clarify that it’s less that she’s messy and more that she just owns more stuff than I do and our apartment is very small. So it looks cluttered because there’s no room. The amount of clothes she has is staggering but she runs a clothing store so it makes sense. I mean, I had like 60 large format beers in my closet aging when she moved in so I also had clutter, just different forms.

Me and Sara are both pretty good at keeping things tidy. She lets laundry pile up though sometimes and that’s not fun

 

I’m certainly not trying to act like girls aren’t messy. I’m very messy. Just in my experience, ALL guys are lol. Like I said I might be revealing more about Florida here....

 

I am clean and organized almost to a fault because I am pure and sometimes get rid of things that I actually needed

But it's more likely actually because my mom was hoarder-lite as a kid and I swore i'd never let my own place get like that. My wife challenges me daily on this

 

My room used to always be a disaster while my car was kept pristine but now I’m just trash all around

 

But I’m only a slob in areas that affect me. I’m incredibly tidy in the kitchen/bathroom

 

I just can't stand clutter. Tidy desk, tidy mind I always say (I work at a computer all day), and I feel like I can't relax if there are dishes in the sink

 

Do y’all remember that dating show where they would get to inspect the other person’s room before the date? Fuck. What was it called? I always felt terrified watching that show at the prospect of someone catching my room on a bad day

I’m a pretty clean person but when things that need to be cleaned I get a little stressed out and then bummed out that they aren’t clean so I don’t even try.

 

when I was working ot constantly my room was a disaster but when I’m on a pretty normal schedule I try to keep my room super clean.

I’ve also been going through everything and getting rid of all my collectibles and clothing I don’t need.

 

My mess is like laundry and dishes but it doesn't take long to clean up. I'm just so busy with work and family and like never home so sometimes I'm running in and set something down and then it's 14 days later and I've set all the stuff down but haven't picked any of it up oop

 

my house/open areas are fairly clean and well kept, but my bedroom is another story. haha

its like i know no one ever comes in there, so i just don't bother unless im feeling a deep clean
