I suck.

I feel fairly confident in irl interactions but I am absolutely awful at online stuff. When it comes to talking to people online im kind of a coward (@dylan ) and I just don’t know how to approach it.

So, I was kinda tipsy tonight and I messaged this girl on IG who I don’t know but she follows me and will occasionally like my content. Anyway, I message her and mention how I’m kinda tipsy and she was giving me shit cause she was like, “people still use being tipsy as an excuse? It didn’t give you courage, just an excuse” and I’m like DAMN. The thing is, I think she’s right. I feel like a stupid fuckboi. But like, I would never have this interaction irl, I am just trash at online stuff and have no idea how to approach it without seeming weird.

So, yeah. That was sobering

 

I don't get this at all because I find the exact opposite haha, face to face interaction is so much harder

 

Yeah I went out by myself to a local brewery and then a sports bar last night to try to put myself out there and I only wound up talking to the bartenders and this one hammered dude next to me watching the hockey game haha. I cannot approach anyone in public.

 

Haha yeah, I get it. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m not like going up to every random person and striking up conversation, but on the whole I feel like I just know how to compose and present myself better in face to face interactions.

It’s why I cannot do tinder, I feel. I might match with someone and then I’m just like, “I have no idea what to do now.”
