So how do your politely explain to a good friend that her getting back with her boyfriend that she caught cheating on her is not a great idea?

 

I'm upfront with my bff that her boyfriend's always suck. I speak on it honestly and then let it go so she knows how I feel and that she can come to me for support when she inevitably needs it, but so I also don't push her away and further to the sucky dude. Seems to work for us. But she also knows she has awful taste so that helps make it easier, except not rly cause she still makes bad choices lol

 

Basically every conversation ends with “I knowwwwwww, I can’t help it” just sucks to see the pain coming in advance

 

As a woman who used to be with a sucky guy like I get it. You don't listen to reason because there's no reason or logic in the decision. Ur all caught up in emotion and feelings and lack of self worth. I wouldn't listen to anyone, in fact I'd just go towards the dude even more, but what helped was knowing that my friend was there for me when I finally figured it out. And tbh if she admits that she knows, then it's all u can rly do I'm. Just keep being there for her when she needs it imo, even tho it's hard to watch
