Someone broke up with me a week ago over text after having just seen each other hours before and after we exchanged late Christmas presents. That sucked.

Like if you had doubts or wanted to break up, you could have talked to me when we hung out. She said "I'm sorry to do this over text" then don't do it over text and you won't be sorry.

We know a lot of the same people and I'm friends with her family. So it's not the breakup that really bothers me, it's how it happened.

I talked to “the girl”, didn’t even ask about plans, just had a joke to say (she loves Mitski and wants some sort of Mitski tattoo, I proposed the idea of getting Mitski’s face tattooed on her face), we talked for maybe an hour, I am as certain as I possibly can be that we have least will do one more thing, we will see how that goes and move from there. I had my friend help me to finally talk to that girl at my work. We just had a conversation about life(it sucked for me because kids talk and I was like NOPE) but yeah after that I started to get a little more confident about talking to her alone so that was nice.
