I've always wanted to attend like one cliche office Xmas party but I've never worked anywhere that does one outside of work

 

This will be the third Christmas my work has been open and my bosses are still trying to plan the first Christmas party from two years ago.

 

My wife was telling me that one of her clients told her about their office christmas party, they have it at some hotel and make everyone sign a waiver that no one will order shots because I guess a few years ago things got a little out of hand are two coworkers were caught doing it in the bathroom

I don't really know how they determined shots were the issue

 

"Damn girl, you sure would look good if i had 4-5 shots in me right now. but until then, see ya!"

The closest to an office Xmas party I had was when we did a team hang out thing at a bar and grill type place for trivia night and my coworker friend got like way drunker than the context called for or anyone else got and she started bawling and almost outed her affair with the married janitor of our building to everyone.

She also lives in another town so I had to drive her home and she yelled at me for not driving her to said janitors home to call out his wife. Not her finest moment lmao.

When I worked for my corporate internship I went to two Christmas parties. They had an open bar and there were always a couple of people that were way drunker than they should have been. I always laughed bc those people still work there now and I got fired but lol I digress
It was fun to get dressed up and had good food and giveaways and dancing and photo booths lol

one of my former co-workers, a woman in her mid-50's, got LOADED during a business dinner with our European sales team, ordered a chocolate milk with her dinner, proceeded to knock it over all over the table, throw up in the bushes out front and openly (and loudly) question the intelligence of the owner's son, who was seated 3 people to her right.

she didn't lose her job, because no one lost their job there, but our VP of HR, who was also in attendance wasn't too pleased.
