I’ve never really thought of it this way but it’s kinda like the other side of the coin to my logic of why I don’t understand people who are anti-marriage despite being in a long term relationship. The ‘system’ benefits alone outweigh all other logic imo

Also FWIW I do believe firmly that marriage means whatever the two parties want it to mean. When we were talking about divorce and marriage the other day I was strictly speaking on what it means to me, and hopefully someday my future husband. Outside of that, go wild who cares.

 

I found out today people at my work list more people on like their allowances to get less money taken out and I’m angry because I put 1 while some dude puts like 7 and includes food and pets.

 

They prob get a shit tax return tho

 

yeah i’d much rather claim zero allowances and get as much money back as i can, god knows it’s the only way i was capable of saving money for the first 10 years of my adult life
