fun fact: my 4 year-old nephew LOVES garbage trucks and for his last birthday his parents arranged a trip to the garbage dump to tour the trucks and the dump and other garbage-related shit and he loved the fuck out of it. he literally sits on the porch in the morning before school and watches the garbage truck come down the street. he has big wheels and other toys that are garbage trucks (didn't even know they made garbage truck toys).

also - garbage trucks apparently have more cameras inside / outside of them than the White House. my sister was telling me that on the tour there's a camera right on the driver so if they stop too long, go too fast or take too long at a house they get radioed asking what's up. and there's like six trillions cameras and sensors in the back to watch the garbage to (i can only assume) make sure people don't put bodies or body parts in their trash.

 

by the way i barely read fuck all of the last 25 pages of nonsense.

I had to drive from Salem to the coast on a state highway and I never want to be anywhere east of the coast in Oregon again (except Portland).

That's completely fair. I've done that drive before and enjoyed it. but the rest of the state I've driven through is more like Kansas than the PNW and it's a weird feeling.

 

Lol oh yeah it's total sucky desert land. Ugly af.

 

For real. I just spent 3 days on the coast, though, so I'm judging against the harshest of comparisons. I want to move to Yachats and just live in a sleepy coastal town for the rest of my days.
