oh for sure (being trivial). i guess i'm just wondering if i'm the only one that sees this as weird and / or if this is how 20ish year olds sometimes act? i haven't talked to anyone that was 22 years old since i was like, 24 (so 6+ years ago) so i don't know what younger generations are like haha.

the guy is nice enough, but he reminds me of very clingy friends i had growing up so i think that's what irks and unsettles me the most

 

I think there are just people in the world who have a very hard time socializing/interacting/meeting new people. My guess is he is prob a nice/good dude, but just doesn't know how to go about treating co-workers?

This doesn't sound so bad. The music thing is a bit weird, but the other stuff I'd not worry about. It's weird to transition from university or whatever into working in an office. He sounds like he's just trying to settle in and for whatever reason, has taken a shine to you.

It might take a little time for him to realise that, for the most part, you won't be friends with the people you work with.

 

Howdy y’all partners :^) so it’s been 3 months to this day that the relationship with my gf of 4 years ended and I recently somehow ended up hooking up with this really cute girl from the city after meeting and talking only once while out with a friend. We had a lot in common and didn’t even do more than dance or drink the whole night/ morning we were out so I was super surprised anything more happened but I’m glad of course haha. But I wanted to get to know her more and hang out again but I can’t help but think she made a mistake going for me (self esteem and sense of self in general has been going through a complete overhaul) and haven’t heard back from her since the weekend. My friends tell me to forget about it because one night things happen but I’m bummed cus if anything it seems like we could’ve just been solid friends. Relationships and meeting new people are weird and I’m so bad at it

 

I always thought the downside to being single and therefore living alone was I had nobody to zip up my dress all the way but the real tragic part is when I can't get someone to help zip it down LIKE I'M STUCK IN THIS DRESS YALL HAPPY THANKSGIVING SMH

Ok I figured it out. I legit thought I was gonna have to ask my stranger neighbors or just show up to Thanksgiving in the same dress lol

 

It is cute! Wore it to court and got lots of compliments! But I now know not to wear it unless I have a someone at least start the zipper for me lol

 

my best friend at work is like a super attractive dude so having every girl ask me about him is super deflating tbh.

You know I was actually really close. I could reach the zipper and tug down but I couldn't use my other arm to hold the dress taut therefore the zipper wouldn't move.

 

I guess I could but it's not as replacing because I'm doing the work
