I would always message as its the polite thing to do IMO (plus I do want to!), and zero response is kinda rude! It makes people like me (low self-esteem) doubt myself and think I've done something wrong - it's the not knowing one way or the other!

Update: we talked and its all good but she reminded me that she sent snapchats of me in my underwear to her friends without my consent!!! I just pretended like it wasn't a big deal because I didn't want to annoy her - I am a weak human being

I was never even allowed to explore those feelings and find out for myself where I stood. In fact, id suppressed my sexuality until earlier this year because I didn't wanna deal with it again. I told one person and the feelings came back fast and sort of forced me to deal with them.

I kinda thought if I'd come out to him and faced it, I would feel better about coming out to the people back home. I just don't think I can do it here :/

I'm sorry you've had those experiences and those feelings. No need to apologize for posting in here and what you posted was not nonsense. I feel confident saying that this thread and pretty much everyone in here is here for you whether you want to talk openly in the thread or to someone through PM.
