Only sober people have a 'type'.

 

I used to think I had a physical type, but the woman I ended up marrying is not anything like what I thought my type was.

 

Like dang i fanticise about a certain man but I'm not going to turn down a cute guy cause he doesn't fit that image. That's ridiculous imo. There's so so many attractive people out there I feel like people are limiting themselves.

Oddly, the first thing I notice in a guy is their hairline.

 

actually, my preference is being with crazy chicks. you know, the stalker, climb up your patio at night, storm into your office, mail serial killer letters... that type of crazy chick is my preference. normal, composed, thoughtful women bore me.

 

That's a totally normal and human thing to say.

I am too attracted to someone's hair and it will be my downfall cause it thins and recedes with time and idk if I can handle it. I just always hope I'll be less shallow as I age so then it won't matter

I like thick crazy curly hair! Idk why cause I'm sure I have enough hair for two people lol. Like if I see a guy with thinning hair I rarely even notice and I don't think it's the worst or anything. But I just love thick hair. Which is dumb cause everyone's hair thins

 

I too have so much hair. It's thick as shit.

 

I've got that natural sweater going, sucks during humid summers. My wife has shaved my back on multiple occasions.

 

the sadness i've found over the years is that even though i've dated an astounding variety of women (in terms of looks, size, backgrounds whatever else have you) they were all the same goddamn person to me which made me miserable. all had the same likes and dislikes, similar jobs, families, friends, hobbies.

it's really disappointing how alike the majority of people are.

 

I just want to find someone to curl up with, light some candles, and listen to Iron Age on repeat.

 

One of the weirdest things about dating is little tics that you notice between people. So I was seeing this guy a few years ago and he was a huge Britney Spears and X Men fan, he called me bub. The next guy I was seeing called me bub too. Then the guy after that was a huge Britney fan too.

It was super off-putting for some reason.

I used to have a tendency to meet/date girls that I felt were out of my league. which would lead to all kinds of unhealthy physical insecurities that in retrospect were probably detrimental to those relationships, but that's just something I had to work out and oh I guess this probably belongs in the Dating and Relationships thread or somewhere else

Anyways, I don't think I have a "type", though there's certainly personality and physical attributes I find more immediately desirable than others. If I weren't engaged, I'd be happy to talk to anyone for some time and find out what they're about. As Kevin Devine says, "I could be with anyone, at least for a little while."

 

I'm already graying quite well now, at 32. Most males in my family start graying in their late 20s, but everyone has a full head of hair so that's all I care about.

My girlfriend has really long, dark, super thick hair and I've always loved it. That is, until we moved in together. Once I started finding hair everywhere (and I mean everywhere! shower, floor, bed, inside the dishwasher, on any clothes I put on, etc) I've become a bit jaded by it.

 

I have a ton of hair. I used to be insecure cause I feel like I have more than most women and some guys lol but idc now. I'm very pale and my hair is really dark so it's noticable. Like i used to wear hoodies and long sleeves to cover my hairy arms but oh well lol can't be bothered now. The shedding is really annoying tho. I get really grossed out by it and its my own haha.
