I actually just bought a bed frame recently, been waiting for like 2 weeks for it to come in now. A little more than I wanted to spend ($1200), but hopefully I won't have to replace it any time soon. Once it gets in, I'm going to get a Casper mattress.

I got a padded headboard recently and it's great! Main benefit is that I can sit up and read comfortably

 

are we having an innocent conversation about headboards? Because for real I feel like that is what is keeping my room from looking grown up

I have such a hard time committing to the expense. My bed frame is from the salvation army and super junky. I need to invest in a new like bed frame and headboard but why do that when I could spend my money on concerts and stupid things

 

I need a mattress and every time I see the price of one I'm like I'd rather spend the money on like anything else

 

Mine was on sale for $20 at Aldi and it's just 8 square panels that stick to the wall with adhesive strips. Weird, but it doesn't look bad

 

OMG me too! I swear this mattress is like older than me. It is also embarrassing because when I was away at college the cat came into my bedroom at home and peed on it and nobody noticed until I came home on winter break and wanted to sleep in my own bed LOL. So the mattress has like a giant pee stain and it's awful. I've cleaned it a zillion times but it still looks like I wet the bed! I need to invest but everytime I think of the price of a mattress I'm like oh my gosh I could take a weekend trip for cheaper than that. Going through that same dilemma when needing to buy winter tires

That's awesome! I don't think we have those out here. I've seen some cute things on Pinterest but they are always a little too rustic for my taste

 

Cannot recommend investing in a bed. My girlfriend has an amazing bed and it’s made a load of difference. My back doesn’t hurt in the morning anymore. Worth the cost.

 

i bought a new bed a few months ago and also bought a mattress saver foam top for it, literally the best sleep ive had in YEARS.
