I got down to it on Saturday night after my own taxi reversed into me on the street. I was not to be denied. Or she wasn't. One or the other.
he ordered a taxi but it ran into con when the man was reversing but con was not deterred and still did the deed
So, I was out drinking with some friends, along with my current date. As the night wound down, I booked a taxi and one of the guys was giving me stick for not using Uber. I said the taxi firm I use it better than Uber. The app then showed that the driver appeared to be driving around in circles. A good start. Anyway, he drives myself and the lady home. He is not a good driver. When we pull up at my flat, I'm on the driver side, so I step out of the car and walk around the back of it to the pavement. He just reverses the car into me. I sort of bounce out of the way and ask him what the hell he's doing. He somehow tries to blame me for it? Anyway, when we get upstairs, the app asks me to leave a review. I give 3 stars and leave the comment: "Driver reversed into me. Not my favourite transaction. x" Then myself and my date went to bed and did a lot of good bad stuff to each other. The other strange moment to the night was when I made a joke at the expense of a girl who was with us and who was being a bit of a tool. Apparently it cut so deep that when she next returned from the bathroom, she had changed her clothes.
In fairness, I ordered it using an app, the payment was done on the app and I could track my driver as he came to collect me. It's Uber, but without all the well documented questionable antics Uber have been slammed for.
