I was talking to my coworker yesterday and our sex lives somehow came up, he’s like.. “yeah, it’s been about four years...” personally I don’t have that high of a sex drive but if I had a dry spell for FOUR years I don’t even know how you come back from that dang

I pretty much did that from maybe 2011 to 2015... being a single parent and living with your ex isn't great for dating. Once that situation changed I bounced back pretty well

 

Yeah under those circumstances I can see it being a difficult situation, but he’s just a normal dude, lives alone and has a dog so I was just surprised

 

It's been a pretty long time for me but like also somewhat by choice I suppose because opportunities were there that I didn't take. I'm an unfeeling robot so like it's fine

I have commitment issues but I'm also not a one night stand or fling person so I'm in a weird place lol. And sex is just so vulnerable like too vulnerable and I don't like to be vulnerable so that's also that.

I think the longest dry spell I ever had since I was 17 was 3 or 4 months when I was 24...and that almost killed me.

yeah this 7 month dry spell I just had was the longest since I began having sex and I don't ever want to go remotely that long again.

 

I'm pretty sure I hit a year at some point, but I can't actually remember when...

 

Going on two and that was the first time after a yearlong dryspell after a breakup. Not into one night things and I was planning on moving 7 hours away so I haven’t really dated.
