I think my elementary school kinda combined it with the puberty talk when I was in like 4th/5th grade.

Apparently my older brother watched a tape of a woman giving birth in his 7th grade health class, only to remark to his friend sitting next to him, "what kind of loser videotapes his wife giving birth?" The teacher was right behind him and it was his wife lol.

I got that talk in fourth and fifth grade I think where they split boys and girls and we had to watch Julie's Story. Then we got an abstinence program in 6th grade and then the you'll get pregnant and stds and die talk in high school

 

Dude, I never got the talk from my parents either! I went Catholic grade school and high school so you can rule sex-ed out entirely, so I basically learned from porn and hearsay from my friends because everyone was getting laid before I did haha but after I lost my virginity I ended up dating a girl who wanted to wait until she got married to have sex

 

i just remember my mom telling me that wet dreams can happen and it’s a perfectly normal thing. i have never had one. she never mentioned sex lmao.

ya know, if we wanna get real, i'd imagine i wasn't always the most custodial 'bater as a young lad and she probably washed my bedding one day, found traces, and didn't assume "he's probably already got his default tv channel set to fuzzy p0rn" as was actually the case. her wording was... just awful hahaha.

trying to decide if some of my weirdest places were on a cliff in Hawaii, outside wayyyy too out in the open in front college dorm, in a college building bathroom (and I lost my phone and never got it back. Not a sex thing. Just set it down and when I went back to get it the building was locked) or on TOP of my car in someone’s driveway I didnt know!

But not having a sex talk as a girl is very BAD.

 

I got the sex talk in 5th grade after we watched the Nutty Professor. There's a scene where a hamster climbs up a guy's pants when he's with a girl and starts moving around and she thinks it's his manhood. I was very confused, and my parents sat me down after.

Also I didn’t have one from school cause I was in athletics and you don’t have to take health if you were in athletics. So yeah, never knew a damn thing! Not like they would have taught me anything profound cause you know I live the Bible Belt...but nothing was ever me talked about to me. Scary.

Gotta love it. To make matters worse, my parents are both the only people they’ve ever been with/dated/etc and started dating when they were 15. So they are extra out of touch.
