I still dont believe that narrative. “I dont wipe because its gay.” If real, this is not some normal dude but like some single extra crazy person from some place awful like Arkansas or something.

I do think they're held to a higher standard, but like you said, they don't always achieve it . What was that reddit thread supposed to be about? Cause if it's women talking about male partner's hygiene, of course there are gonna be a bunch of gross stories. No one wants to read boring stories like "I dated this guy and he used soap and brushed his teeth like everyone should, it was great"

Speaking of hygiene what’s the consensus on night vs morning showers? I feel like I can’t go out unless I’ve showered so I’m morning

100% morning, but frequently take ones at night too.

 

I shower at night. Mostly old habits from growing up in a house with four women and one bathroom so taking night showers was the only way I could get in there! I still do it tho cause I am absolutely not a morning person and I know myself enough to know I will talk myself out of showering in the morning and lower my standards of hygiene haha. I do take them in the morning sometimes tho, espesh if it's a hair washing day. Kinda depends when I go to the gym also. And the weather. Like today I have to wash my hair and then later go to the gym so I'll prob have a morning and night shower.

 

But like, the planet... and more importantly your skin!

 

a shower in the morning makes me feel fresh and clean to start the day. it wakes me up.
a shower in the evening makes me feel clean and ready for bed and comfy jammies. it relaxes me.

 

Night showers are super relaxing I could get behind em

I wish the shower next to my room was actually relaxing but it is the most uncomfortable one I've had

 

I shower every morning and I'll sometimes do a bonus night shower.
