Case by case situation mah dude. But in my experience, even someone who is very mature for their young age is still not prepared for a serious relationship. I don’t see the harm with casual dating though

To be honest, if we're referring to one orally pleasuring themselves, I feel to see the logic behind why that is an uncomfortable topic to broach. Our bodies are interesting and amazing things and it's fun to explore what feels good and what doesn't. Surely if somewhat mentioned that they masturbated with their hand for the first time no one would think anything of it but because it's one man's mouth on their own penis it's bad? Granted, I don't know if that's the topic making people uncomfortable but if it is then I think it's tied to deep seeded homophobia. Not that that's anyone's fault but society's but I've noticed that certain acts like rimjobs for example have been looked down upon in society simply because it's pleasure via your ass which a lot of people associate with homosexuality and are terrified of being linked to that because it damages their masculinity or something??? Sorry, went on kind of a rant.

I think people just have different comfort levels of talking about things and how graphic some of us sometimes get.

im definitely not uncomfortable, it is interesting to hear peoples stories just because everyone has preferences dos and do nots in the bedroom. like to see how everyone handles certain situations and scenarios.

I can understand that, but it is the sex thread. If we’re gonna have an honest discussion about sex it’s gonna be somewhat graphic imo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can understand if it was like very like demeaning and misogynistic banter, yeah...that would definitely be weird. but merely detailing the acts of sex or fetishes isn’t a bad thing, in my opinion. If anything it’s healthy to be so open about it.

    Ain't nuttin wrong wit dat.

No, but really, for a more appropriate example I should have used something like ass play e.g. fingering, pegging etc. That is something that when done to a girl is seen not only as acceptable but it's almost a ubiquitous behavior today that is often praised as some sort of accomplishment. There is still a big stigma of assplay being done to a dude for some reason, that's all.

For the record, I don't think everyone should be into assplay. If you're not into it, you're not into it, nothing wrong with that. I'm just pointing out some things that I've observed.

Care to go in depth a bit with this? If I've been apart of that than I apologize and would like to know for future reference.

eh...i think everyone has their own lines/boundaries etc etc and i'm not going to try to police that but there's been a few posts on the last few pages that have rubbed me the wrong way. like, it's the sex thread..feel free to talk about sex. but when you're talking about stuff where one person is clearly more into it than the other..or 'turning' someone..or whatever..it just feels gross and demeaning

I just think there could be a little more discretion used in this thread. I don’t personally mind the convos in here but just remember this is a public forum

For the record I don’t believe in “turning” someone. I think my own personal experiences have been odd and somewhat surprising to
me. I didn’t say it outright but I believe that there is a big stigma against bisexuals in the LGBTQ community. I’ve met both gay and lesbian people who have looked down on others for being bisexual. My point is that I think people are afraid of identifying as bi because even within their own community it’s looked down upon

Edit: as to why that is? I do not know

uh..i don't really think you should be telling people how to identify themselves or that you, a straight man, should be critiquing the lgbtq community..but whatever

I’m not telling someone how to identify themselves. I’m saying if someone were to be cautious about identifying themselves as bisexual I could understand. Having both family members and also having been in past long term relationships with people of the LGBTQ community, they have made it clear that biphobia is a very real thing. That’s all I’m saying.
