Ability to work from home. Went to Chili’s for lunch and had to Uber home because I ended up having two large very strong margaritas and now I’m on the couch trying to stay awake and read emails and I could never get away with this shit if we were back in the office lmao
This last year I feel like I’ve been rewiring my brain in a sense… like many I think, I’ve really lost a lot of enthusiasm for my career path in the last couple/few years. So a few months ago I bought a bunch of studio gear, a DAW, and now a few weeks ago I started taking piano lessons… I have a Pioneer DJ controller coming in the mail too at some point… it’s on back order, no idea when I’ll get it. It’s probably stuck in a boat off the coast of California or something lol, but hopefully that will resolve itself soon. I really just want to do something with music, so I wanted to just invest and give myself as many tools as possible without breaking the bank too much, and figure it all out. So just the thought of finding a decent outcome through all of that is really keeping me hopeful and pushing for something new. And if nothing happens, I’ll at least have found some cool new hobbies. It’s just the same day to day crap that’s killing me lately… so bored of the same old shit.
