Go to an urgent care/primary care doctor if you've never gotten your ears drained. Highly highly recommend lol. I deal with tons of wax (ew sorry) and was having horrible pain and clogging for a long time until I finally went to a doc for it. I've felt so much better for the past 6 months.
I have this same issue (“low ear canals” or something with how they’re positioned) and in six grade it was so bad I thought I was going deaf and was so sad I couldn’t listen to music or anything only to found out I had wax build up lmao they also make drops to “soften” the wax which makes it easier to get out either naturally because it drains out (but not in a gross ear infection way) and doesn’t get rock hard
I think I’ve heard that from time to time. I think there is also an old school method where you put a skinny candle (like a birthday cake candle) or some type of skinny wood stick thing in your ear and you light the other end on fire for a few seconds or something (keeping your head horizontal as you do this, not vertical lol), or that may be for something else with ears or headaches or something. Never tried it myself I just recall hearing about it but hydrogen peroxide sounds much easier!
I did the stick thing once or twice when I was way younger. IIRC it’s more like a cone and you stick the skinny end in your ear, but then yeah you light the other end on fire and it slow burns for a few minutes. I’ve heard it’s not very good for you though, but can’t remember why. I think part of it is that it’s good to have some earwax built up — the cone thing gets an absurd amount out
our friend @Mary V was finally able to get her first dose of the vaccine and I'm so happy that she was able to
lol we don't have an average high in the 70's until November here (tallahassee). I just looked it up. How miserable
We’ve had a particularly great monsoon season in the Phx area this year, lotta really overcast days with weather in the 80s. Makes me hopeful that it’ll cool down a little earlier this year than it has for a while now. Cause otherwise I’m with y’all — the days are basically summer until December
