The greatest thing about being human is having the ability to change yourself and your circumstances.

I had a pretty tough life growing up (father was in prison, mom cleaned houses, lived with my uncle, extremely overweight), but I never stopped believing that life could be better and that I had the power to change things.

 

Over roasted asparagus has been my go-to during the pandemic

 

Just breathing in fresh air under the sun, it feels good

vanilla; was at a truck stop. didn't even think you could get them in America anymore. first ones I've seen in many years

 

In college I was craving some and bought an entire case from Amazon

Truly a hellhole, I am thoroughly ashamed & embarrassed

 

Another great reason to keep living - maturing to the point in adulthood when you no longer feel compelled to shit on where ppl can afford to buy snacks & feminine hygiene products

 

started gardening a bit a couple months ago and it's been a worthwhile hobby

Unfortunately no sun this morning for this pic but only 5/40 didn't sprout and that's such a moral boost for me since it has been cold for seemingly 6 days a week all spring. I got some caladium, hydrangea, morning glories, and hostas in early stages hoping for some damn sun soon lol
