One of the very few positive effects of how we were forced to adapt a lifestyle change during the pandemic is how most restaurants were forced to get their shit together regarding online ordering. Unless I’m going to a place to sit down to eat, I’ve always preferred placing my order ahead of time — but prior to 2020, most places had severely dysfunctional or non existent systems in place. Now most restaurants have full menu images, descriptions, prices, substitution requests, secure checkout, etc. in reliable, user friendly interfaces
