What do you usually play in?

 

I usually play standard but I love playing in D and C standard. Not necessarily down-tuned but I’ve also been messing around a lot in DADGAE recently. This post was prompted by watching a video of Ryan from Holy Fawn playing an acoustic version of Sleep Tongue.

 

Ohh gotcha. I usually stick to Db standard myself. But yeah, Ryan is all about those alt tunings. When we were younger I’d listen to him riffing stuff and ask what tuning he was playing in, half the time he wouldn’t even know lol. A lot of the time he’d be straight up out of any actual tuning but just making something up with it anyway
