When the (increasingly right-wing) media leads an orchestrated attack on BLM protesters all week but the 25 new COVID-19 cases come from selfish family to family transmission, someone returning from overseas and another known case. Non of whom had anything to do with the protest. It’s satisfying to see right through the agenda and even more satisfying to see it backfire :)

I'm going to read the thread front to back in a minute, just in case someone mentioned this in their own words, but I just had this thought:

The kind of butterflies I get in my stomach when I feel like I'm meeting someone, a connection is made, and I start thinking it might lead to an actual friendship.

I guess this could also apply to relationships but I haven't had those in years, so I don't remember how differently it feels like. I do think the underlying sentiment is very similar at times though.
