Seeing my first apartment today after getting out of a 5 year relationship. Its been nice to lay low with family and I'm very thankful but man am I ready to go.

 

My brother moved into my grandmas old house. He had a house before so he now has double of some things so he’s giving me a fridge and a dryer!!!! I won’t have to hang up all my clothes to dry anymore!! My fridge is over 30 years old and makes crazy noises so I’m always scared it’s gonna stop working. Life has been rough lately so feels good to have some good news finally!

we've got cape cod sour cream and onion kettle chips right now, which was a new discovery. been trying to cut back on carbs, which is a sad middle-aged flex. but they're tasty in moderation.

 

Honestly a top 3 chip. Love Cape Cod dark russets. Wish they made a reduced fat version like they do for their regular and bbq ones.

 

Yeah, those dark russets are fire. I saw Lay's put out a cajun kettle chip that I've been interested in trying.

Making a new friend out of nowhere. I've been stuck in a rut lately, struggling with my body image, work and other stuff that make me crave change, but meeting this girl at a thrift shop just shook something in me. She made me feel so good about my body and... myself well beyond that? We took turns styling each other, trading clothes like we were in a movie, and ended up spending the afternoon together afterwards. I didn't even realize I was being pushed out of my comfort zone because I was having so much fun all along. And to think it all started with a "Gurl, purple is YOUR color" from her. Not gonna lie, my inner Daria is afraid of jinxing it by sharing this nn but I'm just so grateful we crossed paths and it's certainly a day I'll never forget.

 

Got enough money for my birthday to buy myself a ticket to see Neil Young and I’ve been ridiculously emotional about it lol He’s been #1 on my bucket list for years. I have so many memories attached to his music. He’s one of those artists that I’ve listened to when I’ve gone through some of the hardest days of my life. And I also have really great memories with his music too (Harvest Moon literally never left my grandma’s car. Even when her newest car didn’t have a CD player, she still kept it in her car lol). I’m gonna cry through the whole show but I feel like it’s gonna be a really cathartic experience for me and I’m really, really happy I get to go!
