I saw Transformers One yesterday morning (fantastic movie) and Porter Robinson and in the evening (one of the best shows I’ve ever been to).
I SAW MY FIRST EVER BEAR TODAY!!! A dream come true, and it was just chilling in some grass off a highway in front of the woods.
I’m the total opposite. I pretty much just read sci-fi/fantasy novels. Check out Hoopla if you haven’t. It’s like Libby, but you don’t have to wait for people to return something you want. It has ebooks and audio books. My library lets me get 7/month.
Yesterday my son and I spent the day together just mobbing around town, hit the mall for some window shopping and fun snacks at Box lunch, went to this huge wooded park near our house and had a great make believe adventure along the creek, played some video games together, ordered pizza for dinner and watched the new animated Tomb Raider before bed. As I was putting him to sleep he said, "Dad, thanks for having so much fun with me today I love you so much." And he started crying. It was one of the most touching moments I've had as a parent. Stuff like that, that's what keeps me going.
I’ve been quiet about this around here but I’ve been experiencing multiple health scares over the last few months. I have MS for those of you who don’t know, and it can be very arduous at times. I’ve felt debilitated in many ways for a while now and it’s the kind of thing that can sap a man of his soul. it makes you really question who and what is important to you. I say all that to to say that as of late I’ve felt much better and like I’m on the mend, truly something I don’t take for granted
I'm definitely not a bot, but I get why you might think that (besides being a moderator). Sometimes when we're trying to express emotions, it can come across as a bit cheesy or generic.
I discovered a Colombian restaurant ten minutes away from work and am currently eating the best lunch I’ve ever had. If I weren’t alive, I wouldn’t be eating at all.
Making what turned out to pretty much be the greatest Caesar salad you’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise Vegan Caesar Salad With Crisp Chickpeas Recipe
Weird guy I’ve mentioned in the Tiny Things That Annoy You thread at least a few times gave his notice.
