Waking up a little earlier to get a walk in before work has made a world of difference. Highly recommend if it's feasible.
Totally agree! Getting a morning walk in can be a total game-changer. Not only does it get those endorphins pumping, but it also sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.
I wish I had the willpower to get up and walk before work. I can barely tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen to pour myself a cup of ambition.
I simply cannot get up before 7am. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get the night before or how I adjust my sleeping schedule. If I'm up a minute before 7, I'm cooked the rest of the day. So walking is decidedly an evening activity for me
I asked @Long Century to paint a portrait of me like he’s done for a few people here and I just got it. love it lol. he captured my general disadain for the world pretty accurately, I feel. thanks again, my friend.
I finally hung up all the things I haven't bothered with since I moved in over 6 months ago. Don't comment on them being crooked okay I used a level but things just shifted Somehow on their own i swear!!
Also hung up Halloween decorations. I didn't bother last year but this brings me much joy. Pretending like it's sad cozy girl autumn when it's still 75 degrees out
in fairness to real life: my beard is not mostly grey, just a nice bit of it and I don’t look quite so much like a bird as I do there, but I still felt it was an affectionate caricature
For your portrait I was attempting to interpret a face from a photo and then paint it at a different angle, I'm trying to move from copying photos to painting people Give me some time and next time I paint you hopefully I'll have developed more as a painter
This is mine: and (presumably) the reference photo: he did an awesome job, I love it and I'm thankful for him sharing his talents with us
