Remote work / not having an important job. I was not feeling it this morning at all and was able to take about a two hour nap and no one knew or suspected a thing because I work remote and my job is not important so I didn’t miss anything lol. Had we been like our pre-2020 Neanderthal selves, I would have been at the office and either would have had a very shitty morning (and likely entire day) or had to waste a half of a sick day to go nap.
I love that but also hate it because it makes me feel like I’m wasting 8 hours a day even more so than I already do.
Agreed. Also sucks that I’m salaried so “there’s no reason” I can’t just hop on when someone has the audacity to text/call me and I’m dumb enough to answer (getting better at that)
I miss remote work. Work has been stagnant while leadership figures out some stuff. Just been sitting in an office daily while they figure it out no need for me to be here other than I need to be paid and this is the requirement lol

Got cocktails and they turned out to only be $7 not even during happy hour. So used to cocktails being like $12-15 these days. Pleasantly surprised
