Had breakfast at a diner this morning and sat at the bar. An older man (80ish) sat down next to me and we actually had a nice conversation for 20 or so minutes. I was afraid he was going to bring up politics or something but nope. Just a nice solid conversation.

I took an on call shift and they are so desperate for people to take shifts that I got standby pay which is my regular hourly rate regardless if I actually get called out or not, instead of the regular pay rate which is v minimal if you you're on call but don't end up getting called out. Well, I didn't get called out so I'll have 15 extra hours full pay on my check for doing nothing, on top of holiday pay for today. So I got paid twice today for doing nothing.

I have today off for the holiday and my bf is working so I have the apartment to myself and I'm dancing alone to Beyonce

It's looking like the sellers are gonna sign tonight!! So everyone keep your fingers crossed they don't change their minds again between now and tonight so I can finally get this house!!!
