been fucking around with ChatGPT a lot lately and I can see it positively affecting the world and being a reason to keep living or it could be an agent of malevolence because it's in the hands of humans (scary thought). I suppose it's what we make of it, in the end. but it's pretty fascinating to have a conversation with AI imo

 

The Last Drive-In Valentine's Day special is on my birthday and giving me something to look forward to all week

 

I'm scheduled to close on my house on Friday!! as long as everything goes according to plan with the seller (they found out the house has a lien on it so I'm really hoping that doesn't mess anything up. My realtor said it shouldn't, they just have to use the profits from the sale to pay it off). But the best news is they finally told me my definite numbers and closing costs are way less than they told me originally so now I don't have to borrow money from my family to help cover it. And my monthly payment including insurance/taxes will be less than what I'm paying in rent! I also called my dad to give him an update. We are not exactly close and never have been but he sounded legit happy for me and before we hung up he told me to tell him when I get the keys so he can come take a look and maybe help me fix some little things that need done. I almost passed out. He's never offered to help me ever with anything. His wife told me to never ask them for help before even. Would be nice to have a better relationship with him so I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come!

Forever grateful for work from home for days like today when I knew going to bed yesterday that I just was not gonna be in the mood to do shit so woke up, had breakfast, answered some emails and then took a bunch of gummies to kill the rest of the day with and no one has a clue and I can enjoy my corn dogs and vibe in peace

 

The new Magic the Gathering set. I don’t play the game, but the cards for this set are so cool. I love the aesthetic. I went to a game store to get figurines for a D&D club at my school and I picked up a pack that has six boosters. I need to get all the cards and read the story online now.
