Damn that’s adorable lol I love it. But yeah I feel like everyone I know hates it! I got a quote from a painter recently because he was coming over to do some drywall work anyway and I couldn’t believe how much he tried to charge, or that people pay that much. If I didn’t hate dealing with customers so much I’d go into the business myself

 

Painting is easy and fun, I think most people (including me) hate the time prepping takes that they hate the whole job. Painters also hate prep and charge based on time, and if they’re spraying prep is easily the longest part of their job. We should start a paint business together! Lol we just need a people person for the team

 

I love painting too. We renovated the radio station my freshman year of college and we just drank a bunch of beer, got Chinese, and listened to music while painting. It was the best.

The smell of paint fumes makes me feel ill and I also hate painting haha

 

The buzz is half the fun lol but yeah, certain paint fumes can be harsh, luckily they’re finding ways to lessen those but of course only in more expensive paints

My grandma!! I’m house/dog sitting for my aunt for a week. She lives like 2 mins from my grandma. I’ve only been here 2 hours and my grandma already called to tell me she has dinner planned for me for the week. Tomorrow is cheddar broccoli soup. She is the sweetest!! And she sounded so excited that we get to see each other every day. I love her so much. I’m very excited for Friday bc it’s mashed potatoes day lol

One time I had like a fried potato hash that was 2/3 regular potatoes and 1/3 sweet potatoes with just salt, pepper, and butter and it was fucking perfect

I heard someone say Avatar with a Midwestern accent a few weeks ago and it was the most delightful thing ever

 

Housing prices are starting to come down some in my area so I got preapproved again today. Ended up getting approved for more than I thought and I'm going to look at a house tonight!!! I'm freaking out but so excited.

Looks like I’ll be putting an offer in today!!! Just gotta wait to hear back from my realtor. Super lucky to have her help bc she’s been a family friend for years and I can trust her completely. She thinks I can offer lower than what I was thinking bc she said the seller just wants a quick sale and is very negotiable. Fingers crossed!!
