The feeling of experiencing something from your youth for the first time as an adult. Like maybe you discovered a b-side from a record that was important to you, or a random movie that somehow went under your radar but would’ve fit in seamlessly with all of the other stuff you were into at a certain time. Something where you’re like “if it wasn’t for this existing and me finding it now I might’ve never freshly experienced this specific type of joy again”. Like a gift from the past

What are you checking out? I downloaded the new Origami Angel and Meet Me @ The Altar songs earlier but haven't listened yet.

 

love the new Bjork album. the new Clark album is also a lot of fun if you're into electronic music. liked the new M.I.A. single. the new Slipknot album has a few great songs (even if it's a step down from their last one) and I still have to check out the new Bladee album as well as the ones you downloaded so I might have even more to love. great day for music tho imo

 

never listened to Origami Angel before but that first song was great

 

so all three songs are good

Last few posts have answered the question of what I’m gonna listen to on my flight tomorrow, thanks everyone.

 

Listened last night in a dark sky park in Nova Scotia, was an incredible experience

 

My nephews. Went over to see them yesterday and my one nephew had the birthday card I gave him sitting on his bookshelf. I said “aww you kept my card!” And he said “I keep my special stuff on that shelf” Made me cry!! I always write them sappy messages in their cards. I didn’t think they really read it but they do! He said what I wrote made him happy so he keeps it there
