So uh... Real Friends did a cover of Slipknot's "Duality" for a Rock Sound covers compilation CD. And it actually kind of rules. It's not on YouTube or anything yet... but the album is "out there" if anyone wants the link.

This is so damn good.

 

Pretty good. Clearly the vocal isn’t nearly as strong as it was recorded. It’s also one of the tracks I rank lowest on the record.

Love it. It's always so cool when bands give a more in depth look at a song.

Acoustic EP is out and is great. Such a good batch of songs.

 

Would've loved to have gotten an acoustic version of Unconditional Love, but it's not surprising that they went with these four.

 

That’s my favorite off the album.

If they were breaking up it seems like it would make more sense to do a huge merch sale after a farewell tour. It’s probably just clearing out room for new 2020 merch. I hope.

 

Yeah, I think people are making a mountain out of a molehill here-- an offhand tweet about a merch sale ("we closing like kmart baby") would be a weird way to announce a breakup.

 

When I was at their Lansing show back in September they said it was going to be their last show in the States for a couple of years. I'm assuming they're going on hiatus for a bit.
