Me First is the worst song on here by far, I think. Didn’t really set a good time for the album for me on first listen. I’m really enjoying the rest of this though, the songs have sunk in quickly.

 

Never thought I'd be stoked for a new record from this band but very excited to throw this on Friday

 

I think the second song Standing is the odd one out

 

the most starting line album the starting line never wrote

 

Favorite of all the singles is still Get By, can't get enough of it. Super stoked for this to come out tomorrow.

Never made the TSL connection myself, but I had never heard their cover and it is great!

 

Vinyl came in today! Hopefully get some time this weekend to give it a spin.

 

I think this band is really awkward. Not just in their lyrics, but sometimes they have these great melodies but then other areas of the songs completely fall apart. This album isn't too bad though, From the Outside has one of the best choruses of the year.

 

Ok I just found out about this band 3 days ago and I am obsessed! From The Outside is one of my favorite songs to come out this year.

I may actually join my friends at Warped Tour just to catch these guys.

 

Just started this and I for real didn't even recognize Dan's voice, I guess this band has come a long way. Or maybe it's just been a minute idk. Either way so far so good.

 

i came in expecting nothing from this album but holy fuck is it great

 

Dan's voice sounds pretty strained throughout this, and not in a good way.

 

I want to like this, and I do instrumentally, but the vocals hold it back. I'll give it more chances though.

Yeah, I think his vocals are great. Strained/rough vocals work just fine for this kind of music IMO.

 

I don't mind them for the most part. But for example, the beginning line of Smiling On The Surface sounds awful.

 

I still think the vocals are the weak point of the album, but they don’t jump out at me like they did at first.

 

The chorus of Me First is forever stuck in my head. That's probably my favorite song on this so far.
