Love those new songs. Also checking out rationale. while I'm at it, those are good too. Happy to have both!

I’m happy for these dudes. They’re still gonna be able to do what they love after losing the voice of the band during the height of their popularity. I think they’re going to be just fine and I think the pandemic was a blessing in disguise for them to figure out a super solid solution to keep going.

Digging the new songs a lot.

Digging this song/video, but think i like storyteller more. Guy doesn’t sound anything like Dan but still has that signature Real Friends sound.

These are both straight fire. I loved Youth Fountains debut album and think Cody is a fine replacement. Excited to see where they go from here. That State Champs tour is a great way for the band to come back into the scene.

Idk how the the old songs will hit live without Dan

Loved Dans vocals but these new songs are really great. Dig the new vocalist a lot.

Yeah, both of these songs rock and I really like the new vocalist!

I also think Pure Noise is going to be a much better fit for them than Fearless.

Songs are great! I can’t help but hear the vocals and think ah Dan would have stretched this word out or yelled louder here haha

I like these songs a lot. Storyteller is so much fun.
I feel like Dan's vocals were such an important part about this band though

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

I feel like it was more Dan's lyrical approach more than his voice (even if it was unique in the scene), but Storyteller proves to me they can shine without him. Doesn't have as much of an identity, but the songs are really solid

Never was a huge fan of Real Friends save for their most recent album with Dan, but these new songs slap. Really digging the new singer

The new singer comes across as a little derivative when compared with Dan - understandably so.

Still, these songs feel fresh. It will be interesting to see if this is a shot in the arm for the band or not.

    Not newbie, I think Supporter

I like nervous wreck, storyteller is meh to me and both sound familiar/forgettable while also being good. We're all going to miss Dan's voice, this isn't really real friends to me. Only 2 songs so there's room for growth but there was just such an identifiable emotion that came with listening to a Dan/Real Friends song.

Still on my radar for giving them a shot though certainly listenable and maybe they'll jump a bit more on an identity as they develop with the new singer.

  18. How many tours are going to skip the PNW even after a year off?

That’s the first big one I can think of so far except the Rise Against headliner. We have been lucky for the most part.

  20. The Origami Angel tour too. I'll admit we've gotten some, but the ones we have got mostly have tour packages I don't love.

Yeah, that’s living in the NW for you. We get skipped about 25-30% of the time since it’s a far drive for bands.

  22. You'd think with Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver, plus Boise and Spokane on the rise, it would be a bigger market. Maybe that'll change. I'll admit, the distance between SF or SLC and Portland is big, but there are many bigger and medium-sized markets once you're here, like Eugene and Bellingham.
