So this band are done right? Super bummed cause I feel like they just started to really mature on the last record and become a really great band in the scene after one or two slightly disappointing albums.
I thought that was the consensus when they said Dan was leaving, they never said they were breaking up did they? Maybe I'm just remembering incorrectly lol
Yeah, they’re not done. Honestly though, the whole pause on the music industry might be good for them right now. Less pressure on them to figure out what’s next for the band.
I've seen a comment like that before. I have no clue who Keep Flying is, but I imagine they're assholes? But also, do bands really have a say in who the openers of their tours are? I would've thought that's something handled by booking agents and/or management.
Oh damn bummer. Is this the same tour that had pronoun opening? That's so tone deaf of them to bring on both a very progressive inclusive artist AND a seemingly very problematic band. Well, I guess even just the latter alone makes them tone deaf.
I'm willing to give them a shot, but there was something uniquely genuine I feel about listening to these bands songs. They're not terribly original or doing things I haven't heard before I just feel it's real in line with Starting Line, Oso Oso, Wonder Years, Modern Baseball who have a bit of charisma to them that it's hard to put a finger on.
Yeah, this is pretty cool. Wonder why he left RF though if he was gonna end up in a band that is so similar lol.
