That's not what I said at all. I can see this going round and round, and it's not worth it. Agree to disagree.

you said it's a numbers game. so there are more male bands than bands with women in it. how do we change that?

and i mean, look at this list. there are so many fucking bands with women in it, how are they not getting on big tours? why are they not getting big when so many garbage bands of just males (yes i know there are garbage bands with women in it too) are getting tours?

If the suggestion is that there are no bands with female members that can pull in a crowd, then that in itself is an issue, and one that will only be solved by putting more bands with female members in front of crowds. Touring is one of the best ways for a band to get new fans and make a name for themselves. If women are never put on tours, how are they ever going to pull a crowd? It's really not crazy asking for some women to be included on tours. There are plenty of great female artists, no one's saying tours should sacrifice quality to meet a quota, the issue is that there are great bands with females in them, and they don't get nearly the recognition of their male counterparts because every pop punk tour ever features all white men.

Just saying - daughter wants to go to the Paradise show in Boston.... If anyone has a ticket they aren't using, JLMK. Dunno if she has any money (until we give it to her), but just posing it out there..... thanks!
