Dan during the latest episode of Lead Signer Syndrome, noted that they also did some co-writing for this album, which is interesting. Digging this song but I'm liking Colder Quicker a lot more.
I must admit I'm diggin' both Scared To Be Alone and Colder, Quicker more than anything on their last full lenght record.
On the latest "Lead Singer Syndrome" podcast, Dan mentions that this is exactly how they write most of the songs, with Kyle giving him lyrics and him doing his best to make them flow and fit even if they're too wordy. I'm paraphrasing, but it really seemed like a stilted way to put songs together. Almost like they don't care how well they flow, as long as they get their teenage sadness across. I liked a few songs in the past but I haven't heard them do better than "Late Nights in My Car" and even that song isn't that great when held up to their peers. These guys need to grow.
